Hi Jonas,
I guess the term Design System Manager makes sense here :).
To be honest when we started looking for options in the middle of last year there weren’t that many to benchmark.
Of course we tested DSM from InVision but the solution never really satisfied our needs in terms of overall quality and by the simple fact that it doesn’t interface with Figma. It made us drop this option as we find Figma’s collaboration features a strong advantage compared to Sketch.
On the other hand Zeroheight interfaces with all three Figma, Sketch and XD and that is already a huge advantage to my opinion. What zeroheight does is basically translating your design styles into clean universal tokens. And it grabs your assets and displays them on a neat webpage. Now as I mentioned in a comment above, the current website and the exported tokens have both limitations but we count on Zeroheight’s team and its recent fundraising to be answering our needs in a greater way soon.
We also considered to build our own online documentation, extracting our assets through Figma’s API and while we gave up on this idea for now as this was too time consuming, we will probably reconsider it at the end of this year.
